Investment Strategy
The private equity team is involved in identifying, screening, and executing acquisitions of private companies, meeting specific criteria, to build a portfolio of assets that are enhanced through utilisation of both innovative and traditional investment banking buy-out methods.
Our investment strategy is based around three important
considerations:
[1] to target industries based on projected growth rates
[2] to target companies who have a proven track record of at least 3 years
operational history, coupled with one of the following:
Net tangible assets of U$D5m or more
Net profits of U$D750,000 or more
[3] and fundamental corporate market data.
Investment Process
We place a great emphasis on deal flow to the point that we identify assets through being proactive in our search approach, we believe strongly in a bottom up approach. When a business plan meets our criteria and passes our initial screening process we will arrange for a meeting at one of our offices to map out the process.
This process includes a complete due diligence review and if satisfactory a term sheet will be offered to cement the relationship and act as a working document for the future process.
For companies that meet certain criteria, Suisse Capital will acquire that company for its own portfolio then use innovative strategies for enhancing the value of those companies in the United States public equity markets. These strategies not only provide a benefit to Suisse Capital but also offer many benefits and advantages to the portfolio company.
